Spec Social Spot “Dein Hof” – Mental Health in Agriculture

Agriculture is often associated with green fields and sunshine, yet the reality for many farmers includes constant pressure, high expectations and mental strain. The impact of these challenges on mental health in agriculture is rarely addressed.
With the spec social spot Dein Hof, 2RAW explored this important topic in a social awareness film developed for the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (SVLFG). The project was created as part of Anton Blattner’s Bachelor thesis at the University of Mannheim, Faculty of Design, and realized in collaboration with an interdisciplinary creative team.
The film sheds light on both the bright and darker sides of agricultural life, aiming to raise awareness, encourage dialogue and promote empathy around mental health in rural and farming communities. At its core, Dein Hof delivers a hopeful message: even after difficult times, new strength and perspective can emerge.
