Social Awareness Film “Friends For Life – Anyone Can Save a Life”
Friends For Life – Anyone Can Save a Life is a social awareness film addressing the critical importance of first aid knowledge and emergency response. For many people, a first aid course during driving school is the only formal training they ever receive – a level of preparation that is often insufficient in real-life emergencies.
The film tells the tragic story of a friendship that could have been saved through basic first aid skills, inspired by a real experience shared by one of the film’s extras. By focusing on the emotional impact of inaction, the project highlights how anyone can save a life when equipped with the right knowledge.
The film was created with the kind support of M-A-U-S Seminare gGmbH, a leading provider of first aid training in Germany. Statistical references are based on data from the German Resuscitation Registry (Annual Report 2021).
